Superb opportunity for a 3D Imaging Research Engineer; a highly qualified graduate with strong research, diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities to join this award-winning, highly successful and fast growing developer of high technology medical devices.The Candidate:For this Research Engineer role you will be a 3D image expert with experience developing camera calibration algorithms.You will be a highly qualified graduate in Engineering, Mathematics, Computing or Scientific discipline (such as Medical Image Processing) and have:

  • Programming experience skills in either C++ (preferred), Python, C#, Matlab, Mathematica or similar.
  • Experience in one or more of the followings: Photogrammetry, 3D imaging techniques, 3D points and surfaces processing, 3D registration
    • You will also have strong numerical reasoning capabilities. You will be an exceptional communicator and team worker.The Company:This is a highly successful and award winning 3D imaging medical technology company is based in London.The Role: As a Research Engineer you will be involved in the research of new solutions, algorithm design and implementation, working on products that make a real difference to people.Associated words:CUDA, OpenCL, C++, Python, GPU, FPGA, 3D registration, Imaging technologies/ image processing and digital imaging, Medical imaging, Photogrammetry, Computer Vision in particular stereo re-construction, camera calibration, processing and analysis, such as image and surface registration, 3D graphics, computational optimization techniques, DICOM, image segmentation, medical device development, computational geometry, robotics or real time medical imaging applications experience. Python, C++, OOD, Visual Studio, .NET, Object Oriented Design, Object Oriented Programming, OOP, Computer Vision, Image Processing, Medical Imaging, 3D Graphics, MFC, GUI.
