Job Description

This London-based firm is an established player in the Financial Services industry. With a large team of specialists, the company is recognised for its exceptional services and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and transparency.Description

  • Working closely with the Head of Compliance managing all aspects of Compliance
  • Supporting and advising senior management on relevant regulatory developments and requirements
  • Implementing a compliance strategy and designing associated policies, procedures and processes in order to meet all applicable regulatory requirements
  • Preparing risk-based compliance monitoring programme, and reporting any issues to senior management
  • Oversight of AML controls, ensuring processes, systems, controls and training are in place to comply with ML Regulations and Sanctions requirements
  • Delivering internal regulatory training and workshops;
  • Advising staff on compliance questions as they arise;
  • Oversight of all applications and notifications to the FCA on an ongoing basis;
ProfileThe successful Compliance Officer should have:
  • A strong academic background in a related field
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry
  • An in-depth understanding of regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • A proactive approach to identify and manage potential risk areas
