Job Description

A rapidly growing FCA regulated financial services organisation are looking for a Compliance Officer or Manager to support operations across the group.With new investment secured, they are in a unique position to broaden their service offering and are expanding their teams. The new compliance hire will act as part of a dynamic team to deliver a best in class consumer finance service.Youll need to be a self-starter with a background in compliance and risk monitoring, confident working closely with senior leadership to positively influence commercial decisions.Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of the compliance monitoring programme
  • Ensure the implementation of Compliance and Risk policies, procedures, manuals, and programmes to reflect best practice and regulatory and industry requirements
  • Provide advice to senior management and the business on compliance and risk issues as well as regulatory trends
  • Act as a central point of contact for Compliance issues, ensuring that any problems are dealt with appropriately
  • Highlight risks & provide solutions to mitigate challenges were appropriate
    • Knowledge/Experience:
  • Previous experience of working in a compliance role with good knowledge of the FCA handbook relevant to a Consumer Credit lender
  • Consumer-focused and motivated by positive customer outcomes
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills to deal with regulatory bodies and Strategic Partners
  • Industry qualifications such as ICA or ACAMS preferable but not essential
