  • Aid in the completion of the annual risk assessment in relation to threats from AML/CTF in order to create and maintain a framework for AML/CTF controls and processes within the Company
  • To make practical and acceptable recommendations where systems and procedures are in need of enhancement
  • To notify the Head of AML through timely reporting all incidence of non-compliance with regulation and legislation
  • In conjunction with the Head of AML, ensure independent reviews are completed where relevant. To escalate exceptional transactions or relationships to the MLRO if deemed suspicious
  • To ensure the effective operation and monitoring of customer and transaction screening services of outsourced services and service providers
  • To ensure that Metropolitan Gaming remain up to date with relevant regulatory developments
  • To respond promptly to requests for advice or information from venues, external auditors or the regulatory or law enforcement bodies
  • To develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all head office and venues personnel
  • Aid in the development and delivery of AML/CTF training courses to Metropolitan Gaming Management and staff
  • The role will assist in the delivery of the wider Compliance requirements of the business
Policy formatting and publication
  • Formatting of policies, manuals, forms, leaflets and any other associated collateral
  • Publication of above documentation to Sharepoint
  • Maintenance of policy register
Compliance Support
  • Maintaining appropriate in scope registers including Marketing Sign off Register and Gifts & Hospitality and collating data for the purpose of monthly reporting.
  • Support with drafting and maintaining all functional Standard Operating Procedures
  • Formatting of compliance training materials
  • Assisting and execution of all functional 2LOD monitoring requirements
Additional duties include:
  • Facilitating the Compliance Managers with User Acceptance Testing
  • Maintenance of training records
  • Distribution of compliance material to stakeholders
  • Support to lead on special projects through research, analysis and preparing documentation for presentation
  • Maintenance of Compliance databases
REQUIRED SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS:
  • Must be confident and credible, especially when dealing with peers, senior colleagues and external customers.
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and act in a discreet manner at all times regarding information in their
  • Must be able to demonstrate competent research skills and be fully conversant with company procedures and databases utilised in relation to social responsibility
