Job Description

The Governance and Regulatory Reporting Manager role within the UK Market Compliance team entails overseeing compliance risk, management, and reporting as part of the consolidated second line of defense.The team focuses on independent and centralized organizations, and we are seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist to assist with regulatory compliance for our clients UK entity.Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee regulatory compliance risk for Payments and lead the delivery of regulatory reports.
  2. Manage the UK Risk and Compliance Committee, ensuring the overall governance structure for the UK entity.
  3. Develop policies to implement and embed Payments regulations.
  4. Conduct monitoring and testing to ensure adherence to Payments policy requirements.
  5. Provide subject matter expertise to support business and centralized organizations in program execution and risk management.
  6. Communicate and report on the program, aggregated risk views, and risk-related matters.
Deliverables and Activities:
  1. Manage the Risk and Compliance Committee agenda, compile materials, capture minutes, and assist with follow-ups.
  2. Assist in regulatory reporting for the UK entity, including complaints, fraud, compliance reports, and other required reports.
  3. Organize the regulatory reporting timeline for timely submissions.
  4. Update processes and procedure documents to reflect best practices.
  5. Evaluate and challenge the status quo to improve the Legal Entitys compliance with PSRs and EMRs.
  6. Provide advisory support to internal teams working on reporting-related matters.
  7. Contribute to internal and external reporting on regulatory matters.
  8. Support preparation and response to regulatory requests and inspections.
  9. Drive awareness on reporting regulations and develop necessary training.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree required, compliance qualification advantageous.
  • Extensive technical knowledge of FCA Handbook, Payment Services Regulations, and Electronic Money Regulations.
  • Extensive regulatory reporting experience to UK authorities.
  • Experience partnering with senior business clients in a growth-oriented environment.
  • Experience implementing new regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with drafting Compliance policies and procedures.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent ability to analyze compliance risks and recommend controls.
    • Executive presentation and project management skills.
    • High energy, intellectual agility, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
