Job Description

This opportunity sits with a leading Insolvency and Restructuring firm, well known as a centre of excellence within the industry. The firm is London based, with a robust offering across multiple sectors. Due to their substantial growth the firm is searching for a reputable and diligent Compliance Director to join and guide their team.This role will suit you if you currently hold a senior position within Quality & Risk (Q&R) / Compliance for an Insolvency and Restructuring firm or a regulated FS/Advisory firm. The opportunity offers a platform in which to showcase your expertise at botha strategic and operational level, with significant focus on both Commercial and Risk considerations. The ideal candidate would be a key stakeholder and point of contact for senior managers, across multidiscipline teams, providing support through managingICAEW Practice Assurance & Professional Body Licencing. Furthermore, the successful candidate would be active in both reviewing and advising on contractual documentation, development of both regulatory and risk training.Our client is looking to attract the following candidate profile:

  • Demonstrable experience within a Compliance remit, covering Insolvency and Restructuring, with at least 8 years of experience.
  • The ideal candidate would have experience in delegating effectively to their teams, whilst mentoring colleagues and ensuring quality assurance, across the full risk and compliance spectrum
  • Daily duties would include stakeholder engagement, team management and leading on compliance as well as risk mitigation strategies
  • Projects would include IBRs, Company Voluntary Arrangements, Insolvency Appointments and Insolvency
  • Knowledge areas would include deep knowledge of the Corporate Governance and Insolvency Act 2020, Insolvency and Restructuring best practices. This in addition to Compliance best practice, Risk Mitigation and Management strategies
  • Professional registration with JIEB would be desirable.
