Job Description

MERJE has partnered with a leading Insurance Business and were in search of a Compliance Assurance Manager with a proven track record in designing and implementing compliance monitoring plans from scratch. This pivotal role will guide comprehensive complianceefforts, collaborating closely with teams to ensure alignment with regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a risk-focused Group Compliance Monitoring Plan
  • Conduct annual risk assessments related to Financial Crime
  • Review and analyse newly introduced initiatives, ensuring alignment with compliance objectives
  • Oversee 2nd line file reviews, emphasizing risk-centric evaluations
  • Deliver crucial Management Information (MI) to support business decisions
  • Collaborate on the Annual Compliance Plan and regulatory change initiatives
  • Play a pivotal role in mitigating Conduct Risk through comprehensive knowledge of departmental norms and anticipations
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing compliance monitoring plans
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Comprehensive understanding of insurance and financial services
  • Effective communication and escalation capabilities
  • Industry accreditations such as CII/ICA are advantageous but not mandatory
