Job Description

We are looking for an outgoing, dynamic Communications specialists with a great attitude.This job is 70-% internal comms and 30% external for the UK & Germany, it is a great time to join the company as they have just bought another film and are going through a merger so there is lots to learn!This company is passionate about developing all our colleagues and you would be joining a very friendly people team.JOB TITLE: Communications SpecialistJOB TYPE: PermanentSALARY: £35,000 - £40,000COMPANY TYPE: Energy CompanyHOURS: 9:00-5:00LOCATION: Liverpool Street / Farringdon area (being run by Holborn Branch)CULTURE: Friendly, professional, focused and social atmosphereBENEFITS: Performance related bonus, up to 12% employer pension contributions, 30 days holiday (in addition to 8 days Public Holidays), Private Healthcare & Cash Plan, plus many, many more!Duties: You will be leading internal communications across the North West Europe region - developing our messaging and use of media to support the transformation of the businesses.

  • Produce all internal comms and media
  • Drive our external and marketing communications ensuring our presence is felt across social media and the relevant trade press.
  • Helping create press releases
  • Upholding the company values to communicate, work as a team and lead
  • Develop a detailed communications strategy for stakeholder engagement
  • Develop and implement a media stakeholder management strategy, help maximise placement of stories in print, broadcast, social and digital media
  • Carry out media and PR activities
  • Create high quality and accurate content for press releases, response statements, articles, newsletters, speeches, Q&As, presentations, briefings, and marketing/events
  • Help create collateral as well as writing statements

  • You have experience in a communications/PR role with internal and external comms
  • You are passionate about delivering brilliant messages and storytelling
  • You have a brilliant attitude and love working in a team
  • Highly literate and numerate you will have Maths and English GSCE C Grade
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
