The Communications Executive is responsible for the smooth running of the press office, whilst supporting cross-functional marketing efforts. This role oversees global sample movement to maximize editorial and VIP dressing opportunities, nurturing relationshipswith key media whilst contributing to PR strategies, special projects and content creation to deliver exceptional and compelling brand communications.PR Regularly update the marcoms calendar with key industry dates Contribute to PR strategies per collection/project e.g. pitch grids, databases Liaise with press on editorial opportunities and proactively pitch for product and news stories Work to nurture and grow strong relationships with global press and stylists Oversee the sample collections, ensuring seamless transitions between internal and external shoots Record and oversee all press and VIP sample requests using Launchmetrics Maintain the condition of the sample collections and manage the EW sample archive Draft and distribute press releases and materials Compile editorial calendars Support with database management and administrative duties Monitor Emilia Wickstead press coverage globally, with a focus on the UK, EU and US Compile press reports to record and analyze weekly, monthly and quarterly results Contribute to social media by suggesting earned editorial contentVIP Dressing Compile event and industry calendars Contribute to target dressing lists Regularly share look books with key VIP dressing stylists/teams, nurturing relationships and creating new opportunities Pitch bespoke options during awards season and for key VIP moments, organize fittings Liaise with VIP dressing agency to maximize opportunities in the USAFashion Week Support with press & VIP invitation and guest list management Manage VIP dressing Support with press outreach and global media release Support with production/logistics including internal critical pathEvents Coordinate press and marketing events, including guest lists, invitations and logisticsLeadership Responsible for the management of Communications Assistant and interns within Communications departmentQualification and Experience 2-3 years experience working in a press office and/or agency environment Prior experience managing sample collections / inventory Good knowledge of Launchmetrics Detailed knowledge of and keen interest in the global media landscape Proficiency in MS Office and databases is required Experience with Photoshop/Adobe Creative Cloud is desirable Professional, discreet and well presented with a keen eye for detail Articulate with excellent written and verbal communication skills Good time management skills, well organised and has the ability to prioritise and work under pressure Able to be an Emilia Wickstead brand ambassador internally and externally Fluent in English
