Job Description

Role Requirements

  • The Communications & Engagement Adviser is the key day-to-day person responsible for the successful external and internal communication about the Learning from Consortia programme.
  • The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player, a confident communicator and be flexible and hard working in a programme start-up environment. They will bring relevant communication experience, be able to support clear planning, delivery and review of programme communication, be adaptable to changes in the programme, and be passionate about communicating learning from consortia programmes.
  • Role ResponsibilitiesCommunications planning and delivery (80%)
  • Ensure that a communication plan and production schedule is developed, monitored, and updated, ensuring all stakeholders are clear on relevant tasks needed and their timelines in relation to overall programme delivery.
  • Work with the Programme Lead and Programme Coordinator to coordinate and provide regular updates on the Learning from Consortia programme across different teams.
  • Broader programme work (10%)
  • Support quarterly and annual donor performance and progress reports.
  • Actively participate in programme planning, risk management, reporting and relevant review processes.
  • Cross-organisational support (10%)
  • Manage enquiries from Bond members and other stakeholders, providing advice or escalating to other Bond staff as necessary.
  • Support Bond’s communications and events team on the design, planning and delivery of key events, such as the Bond Annual Conference.
