Job Description

My client is a B2B sustainable business specialising in the energy sector is looking for a Communications Manager EMEA. This is a great opportunity for someone with a B2B background who has experience in PR and is looking to step into a wider communicationsrole. They offer great company values, benefits and equal opportunities. The role reports to the Head of Communications for the EMEA region.Main Job Responsibilities

  • Support on key internal communications projects and identify areas to enhance current internal communication offerings
  • Work across departments and with brand to ensure consistent internal communications and tone of voice
  • Ensure our company values are front of mind for all employees through a regular cadence of communications that align with the People strategy and OKRs
  • Working with the People Director, create content and gather employee input to deliver the monthly So News
  • Work closely with the wider People team to produce strong narratives to support employer brand work, L&D strategy and event programmes
  • Work with the D&I group to ensure regular communications and engagement
  • Create regular communications on their Mission and Values and other priorities for employee engagement
Key Requirements
  • Experience in planning, managing and delivering internal communications in a fast-paced business
  • Previous experience in an internal communications role or working as a full time journalist
  • Experience, or willing to learn, intranet management
  • Experience in interacting with senior leaders
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management, planning and prioritisation skills
  • Strong writing capabilities - willing to consider a journalist looking to move in house
