Plexus are on the lookout for a talented Desk Quant to join a well-established consultancy working with some of London’s leading firms. You should have experience working in a front-office trading floor environment with an ability to work under pressure.Responsibilities:-Coding quantitative models to identify opportunities-Work on existing trading systems to identify trading patterns and improve trading algorithms-Work in close collaboration with sales and tradingRequirements:-Excellent programming skills in Python and C++-Bachelor’s Degree required and a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline preferred-Knowledge of commodities trading is desirableThey are offering a competitive rate of £650 - 850/day depending on experience
