The role resides within the EMEA Commodities Middle Office team, who are primarily responsible for ensuring accurate execution of trades in a timely and efficient manner. The Commodities businesses transact high volumes across many different markets includingOil, Precious Metals, Base Metals, Softs, Power, Freight & Emissions. Support provided to these desks include but are not limited to, daily reconciliation of exchange positions, deal checks and problem resolution via liaison with Sales & Trading and othersupport teams. Middle Office need to ensure that there is a continual focus on control throughout the trade process, monitoring deals and amendments to ensure they are booked correctly, while constantly driving improvements to existing processes. The Commodities Middle Office Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing analytic and administrative support to the Commodities Sales & Trading business. The role will be primarily concentrated on coverage of the Exotic Commoditiesdesk, providing key support across Structured Derivatives and Debt Securities. The post holder will interact extensively with Desk Heads, Salespeople and Traders to actively manage risk issues and solve problems, while also working closely with a diverse groupof support and control functions.
