We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our Corporate Affairs team to play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our committees as Committee Secretary. Closing date: 4th August 2023Interview dates: TBASalary: £18,968- £22,019 (£31,613 - £36,698 FTE) per annum, depending on skills and experience, plus benefits.Location: Canary Wharf, London (Hybrid working approach)Hours: 21 hours, 3 days per week, from 9.00 to 5.00The roleThe Committee Secretary will provide comprehensive and high-quality secretarial services to the Council’s non-statutory Committees and to other groups as required. The Committee Secretary is part of the Corporate Affairs team who providesupport and advice to all Council and Committee members and act as the conduit for all communication and engagement with them.This is a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time work and is looking to work with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels whilst managing their own groups to ensure their effective delivery.This role is subject to a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of our pre-employment due diligence.The successful applicant will:
