Job Description

Job Title: Commissioning Project Manager - Childrens Programme TeamLocation: Hackney, LondonContract Duration: 3 Months Daily Rate: £350-£400Responsibilities: As a Commissioning Project Manager, you will play a central role in the successful delivery of projects within our local authoritys Childrens Programme Team. Responsibilities include:

  • Project Planning and Management: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders within the Childrens Programme Team to gather requirements, align project goals, and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor project budgets, provide financial reports, and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to meet and exceed project deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a public sector or local authority setting.
  • Strong understanding of commissioning processes and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) is desirable.
Contract Details:
  • Duration: 3 months (with the possibility of extension)
  • Daily Rate: £350-£400
