Job Description

Commissioning Engineer - Rail/London UndergroundLocation:- LondonEnvironment:- IP/CCTV, Station Management Systems, Information Systems, Remote Management Systems, Voice Alarms, Passenger Help Points, Rail, London Underground, Cross RailYou must have proven experiences working on communications systems relating to the Rail/Underground sector.Hours:- 37.5 hour weeks, 10pm- 6am (Nights)Salary to £45k + Company Car + bens@Mecs Comms is looking for a mix of commissioning engineers with the below experiences:-Candidates must have previous experience of configuring, testing and commissioning at least one (preferably more) of the following station communications systems on LUL or Network Rail projects (strong preference for LUL):

  • station management systems
  • security CCTV (Analogue and IP),
  • customer information systems and displays
  • public address
  • voice alarm and induction loops
  • passenger help points
  • data network
  • one- person operation (OPO) CCTV Systems
    • The role is working nights on a variety of stations rolling out the commissioning of station management systems as part of a refresh program.You will be responsible for the physical installation and implementation on premise.Other duties include:Daily shift reportsCompleting onsite commissioningProviding detailed reports on issuesDocumenting work that has been completedReading Schematic diagramsApply now for full details.
