Job Description

This is an opportunity for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join a fast-growth, FTSE 250 business. The business has grown 20% year on year over the past 3 years and this role is newly created as a result of the growth.The Commercial Finance Analyst will report to the Finance Manager and will be partnering on a daily basis with senior stakeholders including the Property Director and VP’s of Finance. You will take ownership of management and financial reporting as well as supporting your stakeholders with budgeting and forecasting. Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of consolidated forecasts and annual budget, including an explanation of variances
  • Business partnering with the regional finance and non-finance stakeholders, supporting them with management reporting and driving profitability across the regions
  • Supporting in the preparation and accuracy of all external financial information
  • Supporting the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, developing new financial models, and supporting with any ad-hoc projects
  • Ownership of the month-end process for an operating region, which will include the consolidation of Joint Ventures.
    • The successful candidate will be an ACA Qualified Accountant from a Top Ten practice who is looking to make a move into the industry. You will have experience auditing listed clients and a good understanding of IFRS through your audit experience. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and an individual who thrives under pressure and through working tight deadlines is key, as is excellent communication skills to be able to partner with stakeholders across the business.
