Job Description

Are you an experienced Commercial Electrician looking for an exciting opportunity to relocate to the beautiful country of New Zealand We are working with a leading electrical firm in New Zealand, is seeking skilled Commercial Electricians with a strong backgroundin the design, installation, and commissioning of large-scale commercial projects.Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project teams to develop electrical plans and designs for large commercial installations.
  • Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of commercial projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards throughout the project duration.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions to ensure smooth operation.
  • Work closely with other team members, including engineers and technicians, to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior electricians when needed.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in designing, installing, and commissioning large commercial electrical systems.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficient in performing electrical calculations and adhering to relevant codes and regulations.
  • Solid knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and materials used in commercial settings.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
  • Provisional registration with the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) in New Zealand is preferred; however, candidates who can obtain this registration will also be considered.
  • A valid electrical license/certification from the United Kingdom or equivalent.
