Combining powerful learning technologies with creative content development, the joining together of our companies creates a major new force in the learning technology market.The role…We’re looking for an experienced Business Leader to join our organisation, taking responsibility for developing and implementing commercial strategies aligned to our company goals, strategic growth plan and value proposition. You’ll take full accountability for the P&L of your Business Unit, and as a valued member of the Senior Leadership team you’ll play a big part in shaping and contributing to our wider business plans. You’ll have a natural instinct for business and a deep understanding of how large enterprises operate. You’ll demonstrate a consistent trajectory of sales growth in previous roles and have a proven track record of leading and driving multiple complex business development initiatives to meet objectives, along with excellent project management skills. You’ll demonstrate excellent leadership, leading diverse teams with a collaborative approach to deliver quality for our clients, and be a role model to others. Being this trusted leader will enable you to collaborate with other Business Leads and functions to ensure everyone is working effectively together to deliver for our clients.Key responsibilities:

  • Working as a key member of the Senior Leadership team, shaping and contributing to wider business plans
  • Driving revenue and market penetration, with responsibility for growth and delivery of P&L
  • Developing and implementing commercial strategies aligned to company goals, strategic growth plan and value proposition
  • Leading and developing diverse teams (Sales, Project Management, Design and Tech)
  • Setting of financial targets and monitoring and reporting on performance against targets
  • Being the voice of the client - ensuring all functions within own Business Unit understand client needs and deliver excellence
  • Collaborating with other Business Leaders and functions to ensure everyone is working effectively together to deliver for our clients
  • Collaborating with Marketing to continuously attract new business
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends and competitors
  • Required experience:
  • 5 years plus relevant leadership experience in technology enabled consultative, business development, solutions, and/or transformation roles
  • Experience of being part of a Senior Leadership team/Operational Board
  • Proven experience engaging and influencing exec level both in and externally
  • Proven record of forecasting and planning, with responsibility for growth and delivery of P&L
  • Demonstrate a consistent trajectory of sales growth in previous roles
  • Proven, effective management skills - creating, leading and developing diverse teams within a digital or tech market place
  • Strong communication, analytical, and numerical ability
  • Passion for customer excellence, innovation and pushing the boundaries with product and services
