Wilmington PLC are looking for a Commercial ConsultantCommercial ConsultantLocation: London - E1 8QSSalary: £80k - £90kTerm: Full Time, PermanentWhy do we want youYou have extensive professional experience in consulting within the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with a good understanding and knowledge of NHS structure and workings.You have excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate and interpret complex analysis including primary and secondary research combined with experience in business integration and transformation services. You have well-developed written and verbal communication skills including presentations, chairing meetings, workshop facilitation, business and report writing and you have strong capability in managing large and/or multiple projects and competing priorities.You are a true Subject Matter Expert who is experienced in developing credible relationships with C suite and executives in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry and have up to date knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical, NHS and healthcare industries.A bit about us.Wilmington plc is a company with a difference. Our leading insight and news service, the Health Service Journal, provides the most influential people in health with vital intelligence, analysis and advice.Join our teams in London and Basildon to be part of our exciting journey.Main Purpose of Role- Provide strategic advisory services to clients and utilize deep healthcare knowledge, experience and analytical skills to address client challenges particularly with Market Access and Value proposition- To co-ordinate, develop and evaluate effective service provision in relation to key health priorities - Horizon-scanning alongside Government bodies e.g. NHS England- To work closely and strategically with key partners, including voluntary and statutory services, to oversee the mapping, development, implementation and evaluation of service redesign in relevant organisations- Interpretation of identified national policy, guidance and clinical standards providing advice on how issues arising should be addressed / taken account of within relevant organisations.- To grow and develop WHC Consulting services- Ownership and responsibility for securing and delivery of timely and profitable client projects across the healthcare industry- Support WHC sales teams in pitching and winning consulting projectsSkills and Experience Required- Experience in the same or similar role- Extensive professional experience in consulting within the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with evidence of career progression- Knowledge and experience of working with/in NHS- Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate and interpret complex analysis including primary and secondary research with attention to detail- Proven project management experience focused on strategic consulting projects- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including presentations, chairing meetings, workshop facilitation, business and report writing- Strong capability in managing large and/or multiple projects and competing priorities so that deadlines are met while retaining consistently high-quality deliverables- Experience in developing credible relationships with C suite and executives in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals- Ability to contribute to business development through the identification of leads, development of proposals etc.- Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical, NHS and healthcare industries"We are committed to equality, equality of opportunity and valuing diversity" Required skills
