Job Description

Commercial Accountant£55,000-£60,000 + bonusLondon, hybrid A nationally recognised property developer is urgently seeking a Commercial Accountant to drive the investment phase of their largest regeneration project. The successful individual would be fully involved in the commerciality of this development, as wellas supporting the financial processes.This is an ideal role for an eager individual looking to expand their property experience in a well-established developer, contributing to the growth of their largest asset.Responsibilities

  • Producing monthly actuals and forecast analysis, as well as assisting with monthly cashflow forecast updates
  • Liaising with other teams in the business to prepare any ad hoc payments for projects, monthly payments, capital call and debt drawdown
  • Assisting the accounting team with preparation of management accounts, preparing bank reconciliations, financial statements, and supporting clients producing budget reports
  • Preparation of VAT returns, reviewing tax entity summaries, and submission of CIS reporting
  • Manage cash transfers for projects by effectively understanding and using the firms finance system
  • Supporting the implementation and oversight of systems, including finance systems and capital call process
Key Requirements
  • Newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Working knowledge within the Real Estate sector is a bonus
  • Commercially minded individual, with experience in forecasting and actuals
  • Strong Excel skills, including PIVOT tables and VLOOKUPS for effective data manipulation
  • Knowledge of JDE/Hubble is a desirable but not essential
  • Driven individual keen to take charge in a start-up, entrepreneurial environment
