Job Description An Investment Bank is looking to hire a Collateral Management Analyst/AVP to join their operations team in London on a contract basis. An Investment Bank is looking to hire a Collateral Management Analyst/AVP to join their operations team in London. In this role, you will be responsible for the bilateral and cleared repo margin processes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to assistwith system implementation and bank integration projects. Key Responsibilities
  • Support and help develop the current Collateral Management function, covering Stock Borrow Loans (SBLs) and Repo Margins (bilateral).
  • Be accountable for the timely and accurate processing of collateral requirements.
  • Assist teams with building robust frameworks, including UAT planning, testing, and implementation.
  • Handle post-trade requirements related to settlements, collateral management, and resolve routine problems and queries, escalating more complex issues to others.
  • Review legal documents, including GMRAs and GMSLA, pertaining to the repo margining processing framework.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent service and support regarding collateral-related matters.
Key Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a Collateral Management function.
  • Knowledge of front-to-back operational processes.
  • Experience in bi-lateral and cleared repo margin processing is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with clients.
  • Experience in delivering new projects, processes, and reviewing/improving existing workflows.
  • Ability to identify efficiencies and suggest methods to implement changes to existing processes.
