Job Description

The OpportunityThe Collaboration Consultant delivers support and proactive managed services from the Block Operations Centre to customers and is responsible for ensuring that Collaboration managed services are delivered to Block’s internal staff and enterprise customers within agreed service levels.Role Responsibilities

  • First contact call handling services and recording of all fault calls & requests for service
  • Deliver incident and problem management activities to agreed service levels
  • Deliver monitoring and managed services activities to agreed service levels including:
  • Requests for Service
  • Real time monitoring and alerting
  • Capacity management services
  • OS Patch Management services
  • Back Up Services
  • End of Life/End of Sales Lifecycle Management services
  • Hardware and software maintenance and management
  • Vendor TAC management to agreed client service levels
  • Production and maintenance of technical methods to enable the successful delivery of services
  • Completes documentation to a consistently high quality and in accordance with Block processes and documentation standards
  • Ensure ongoing document management control including technical operating policies
  • Works closely with Project Managers and Service Managers to ensure effective delivery of project and managed service activities
    • Other Service Management activities
  • Assess, Evaluate and Authorise change within the client managed service environments
  • Working with Service Control to ensure full lifecycle management of Service assets from purchase through to service cessation, including the ongoing maintenance of client Configuration Management Database items
  • Operations Readiness - Ensure that the services can be managed, operated and supported in accordance with Services sold
  • Seeks opportunities to improve processes and methods to ensure that Block is best positioned to deliver high value services to clients
    • Skills, Knowledge & Experience
  • Cisco CCNA qualified
  • Previous experience in Cisco Collaboration technology i.e.
  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
  • Cisco Unity Connections (CUC)
  • Cisco Unified Contact Centre (UCCX)
  • Cisco / Enghouse Attendant Consoles
  • Cisco Unified Border Edge (CUBE) gateway
  • Cisco WebEx Meetings, Calling and Devices
  • Microsoft Office 365 Collaboration Services
  • Microsoft Teams - Video, Voice and Integrated Services
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Experience of working in healthcare and/or retail desirable.
  • Solid understanding of and experience working with complex technical delivery solutions.
  • Experience of articulating complex technical challenges to arrive at the right decision.
