Cloud Services Operation Manager

Responsibilities

Management of Enterprise Azure Cloud Platform and including Health, Security Posture, Lifecyle Management, Change and Compliance.
Responsible for Platform monitoring, problem identification and management
Prioritisation and coordination of Platform Engineering/DevOps related work across multiple teams and application service owners
Maintaining proactive relations with key consumers of Enterprise Cloud Services, ensuring consistent governance, across planning, change management and status reporting on Platform operations
Manage engagements from end to end, which includes the identification and operational escalations of client delivery issues to delivery and solution leadership
Act as a point of liaison to transition new changes into BAU support

Expertise

You will be responsible for defining, planning, and delivering the strategic cloud infrastructure platform
You will have a hands-on approach and manage a global team consisting of Cloud Infrastructure, Operations and Support specialists
You will take responsibility for defining operational best practice, working with our Cloud Services Architects to develop/enhance services, managing service partnerships, and ensuring adherence to the agreed SLAs to deliver the best customer experiencepossible
You will collaborate with our dedicated transformation team to transform our operational model from our current hybrid cloud to our future cloud platform
Management and continual improvement of Cloud Operations
Manage third party vendor relationships and hold them accountable for cost and delivery, including SLAs of any outsourced functions
Assess the deployment process to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions towards continuous deployment and continuous integration (CI/CD)
Evangelize, implement and manage a robust DevOps process Responsibilities Cloud Operations
Experience of implementing and managing FinOps processes
Passion for automation and continuous improvement of service and platform operations with experience or management of teams who have delivered these services

Skills

A track record in Cloud Platforms Operations Management within a highly regulated environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Azure related technologies, CI/CD related tooling
Ability to exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results and ensuring that project goals, schedules and performance requirements are achieved
Ability to perform process-based performance benchmarking with strong analytical skills, strategic focus, broad-based business judgment, proven initiative, creativity, assertiveness, and leadership abilities
