We are are looking for a Cloud Performance Tester.Our client is a Central Government agency - SC Clearance will be required.Location: Croydon (remote for now)Duration: Initially until the End of March (likely to extend)Rate: Around £400 p/dThe role is all about infrastructure/cloud performance testing, rather than traditional application perf testing.The skills required are as follow:- Must understand TCP/IP at all protocol level, SYN, ACK, IPV4 some routing and terms like IPSEC. Be able to triage with Wireshark and understand a PCAP file.- Kerberos tokens and how to send them with JMeter.- AWS architecture, VPCs etc. Must have tested Cloud infrastructure.- Iperf tooling- Experience creating test harnesses to break networks and firewalls with high volumes of mixed traffic.
