Cloud Infrastructure Engineer | Up to £80,000 | AWS, Kubernetes, Linux | SaaS platform The Company A tech-forward, SaaS provider are looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their established engineering team. They are a household name, providing a web application that is customer-centric, used globally and is a leading innovation platform to provide "tech for good" causes.The Role Youll be working with the broader engineering team to create and deliver high-quality software, understanding the whole system of the cloud infrastructure and be confident in building the microservice architecture, hosted in AWS. You will be pivotal in lending direction to the infrastructure to ensure this infrastructure maintained, scalable, and secure.What we need from youYoull be an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who has experience working with web applications within AWS - with extensive technological knowledge how the whole application works, from an architectural standpoint.The platform operates on Linux; experience with this tech is a must.As this platform is built from microservices architecture, youll have bundles of experience with Docker and orchestrating with Kubernetes (or variations - e.g. EKS/AKS/GKE). Bonus points if youve overseen a migration from Kubernetes to EKS, but not at all an essential.Being able to confidently deploy IaC written in Terraform (ideally) or CloudFormation is a must. Youll be using that from day one.Proven experience to automate using Ansible/Puppet/Packer is also needed, as again, this will be expected from you from day one.What youll get from us You will be part of an experienced, growing engineering team who already have an international stamp in their industry.
