Your role Deloitte Technology and Digital Services are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer who is passionate about building applications at scale on cloud platforms. You will have a background in the design, automation, deployment and operation of cloud infrastructure and applications. Azure platform: • Ability to build enterprise applications and solutions using Azure (expose to AWS and Google Cloud is beneficial but not required); • Use Infrastructure-As-Code approach to create Azure resources (ideally Terraform, but ARM is okay) • Develop cloud architecture and solutions optimised for cloud platforms; • Develop scripts to automate the deployment of Azure deployments and solutions; • Monitor and maintain multiple Azure solutions to meet project requirements; • Setup non-prod, prod environments - this includes creation of necessary tickets (Ex: IPflow), liaise with architect to work out the infrastructure requirements (VNet/VPC) for environment provisioning. • Setup and manage backups, patching and AV/malware software across the environments; Monitor Alerts/Logs for any anomalies and escalate accordingly. • Capture and share best-practice knowledge within Deloitte cloud teams; • Identify new tools and process to improve the cloud platform and automate processes. DevOps Portal: • Setup, configuration and on-going management of Azure DevOps • Setup build and release pipelines • Setting up repositories • Administration of permissions • Supporting Developers & Scrum Master Support: • Support mailbox box management • Creation of tickets for issues for triage with relevant teams • Request management (submission and receiving) Your work, your choice At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk. The role can be worked on a full-time basis. Your professional experience • Experience of automation and provisioning approaches, using tools such as Terraform, Bash, PowerShell, Python & C#; • Knowledge of agile software development tools and methodologies; • Ability to adapt to new technologies, learn quickly and pass on this knowledge to other team members; • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills; • Strong communicator and decision maker; • Occasional travel to other Deloitte sites; • Be willing to submit to BPSS and Security Clearance (SC) vetting processes. • Experience of agile project management approaches and tools (e.g. Azure DevOps); Experience in the following is desirable - • Any cloud architect / administrator / developer certification (AWS / Azure / GCP); • Proven Scripting or programming experience (Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell, etc.); • Proven Experience of microservices and container-based systems (Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos); • ITIL experience; • Fundamental knowledge of security best practices in cloud Your service line: Enabling Functions At Deloitte, were all about making an impact that matters, together.
