Job Description

Vacancy (IT): Cloud Data Engineer / Cloud Engineer (Data)Location: London, HybridAre you a Cloud Engineer with experience in Cloud Infrastructure and in Data Do you want to work in an expanding and exciting organisation in the financial services sector If so, this could be your next position.The ClientMy client, having a regulatory-first approach and reliable trading interface, is looking to bridge the gap between Finance and Technology, enabling the adoption of digital assets for institutions. They have big ambitions, looking to become the leading marketinfrastructure for digital assets across Europe and then expanding into Asia and the US.The Role:They are now Looking for a Cloud Data Engineer -Their environment is highly customized, meaning you will build the revolutionary and pioneering tools to ensure their systems are and remain cutting edge.You will:

  • Writing, Monitoring, Testing and Integrating throughout their trading infrastructure.
  • Design, build and scale cloud infrastructures which are secure and can also change management services on top of AWS.
  • Build, maintain and use CI/CD pipelines.
  • Design and Build Data Pipelines from the ground up, focusing on the quality and reliability.
  • Maintain and manage my clients data storage system, as well as managing their storage policies to maximise cost efficiency.
  • Support & design AWS Infrastructure to maximise performance, reliability and its security.
Skills Required:
  • Unix and Linux Experience
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud based infrastructure and solutions as well as performance and principles
  • Knowledge and experience with designing, deploying and scaling production infrastructure
  • Knowledge of CI/CD systems
  • Skills in programming languages: Python, Go, JavaScript, Rust, C++
  • Data Management Tools: Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, Hive
  • Understanding network fundamentals is a bonus
  • Configuration management tools
Compensation:
  • Base Salary up to £90,000 per annum
