Job Description

About the team:An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 6 Clinical Charge Nurses to join the Lambeth Site. We have vacancies in our PICU, Acute Wards and Rehabilitation Unit.About the role:The suitable candidate will be motivated and forward thinking. An experienced RMN who is enthusiastic about working with people with complex mental illness and who is able to demonstrate a real commitment to providing high quality and compassionate care. Working as part of a multi–disciplinary team you will have excellent communication skills and team working abilities. A key role of the Clinical Charge Nurse is to lead by example and be a role model for the nursing team. We are looking for an individual who is able to support junior staff and students in their professional development, through excellent and effective clinical leadership and sharing of knowledge.The Clinical Charge Nurse will work closely with the Ward Manager and Modern Matron to promote effective leadership and support for patients, carers and all members of the team.About the location:The job will be based at Lambeth Hospital, any specific preferences can be discussed during the interview.Our Trust headquarters is located at Denmark Hill less than 5 minutes from the train station (zone 2).
