Job Description

Client Services Director - (New Business Development) - Caribbean Region (London based) £100k+, plus commission Established for over 30 years this is an international, corporate, fiduciary and fund administration organisation with a global footprint. It is privately owned.This established and prestigious organisation has created the new role of Client Services Director - Caribbean Islands, to support the continuous growth and expansion that they have experienced over the last couple of years within the region. They have recently identified a trend of new business coming from the UK which they want to support further by introducing a dedicated Client Services Director based in their London office.Reporting to the Regional Managing Director (based in the BVI) , the successful candidate will be responsible for working with all the respective Country Office MDs within the Caribbean region to identify and maximise the new business opportunities that this role can promote to potential new UK clients.Key roles and responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with the Regional Managing Director develop the strategy for the revenue growth of the services on offer within the Caribbean region to new clients within the UK
  • Work closely with Country Office MDs and their teams to identify opportunities within their local markets for UK clients
  • Identify the best revenue channels for winning new business and convert these channels into recurring revenue streams aligned with the risk appetite and compliance requirements of the organisation
  • Provide consistent reporting regarding pipeline and sales activity
  • Work with senior team to reduce the time from first contact to signing of the client service agreement
  • Make recommendations to introduce any services or products to the organisation’s current service offering
  • Raise the profile and awareness of the services available within the region to relevant UK companies, introducers and influencers
  • Represent the Caribbean Region at any appropriate conferences or networking events.
  • Work closely with the marketing department to maximise awareness of both the brand and the services on offer
  • Perform senior-level negotiations with (new) clients
  • Skills required:
  • Established experience with respect to Caribbean services used by UK business within fund services (essential) fiduciary services (e.g. trusteeships and directorships), and corporate administration
  • Strong sales/business development growth track record within the industry
  • A good network/background within the legal, accountancy or tax firms that are within the financial services sector and within the Caribbean region
  • Experience of working remotely with multiple International offices
  • A strong brand ambassador
  • Self starter, motivator - will need to inspire and engage people they do not directly work with.
