Duties and Responsibilities - "Your Role" The successful candidate will form a key part of the Markit Loan Settlement Platform responsible for maintaining the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of Syndicated Loan Market offering,as well as supporting the questions and requests of our internal and external clients. IHS Markit is seeking a professional person who will be located within the Manchester office supporting the Loan Platforms business. This role will be supporting eitherthe North America or EMEA regions, with shifts times to cover those clients working hours. Loan Platforms and ClearPar provide a complete electronic trade processing ecosystem used to settle syndicated loan trades. Used by buyers, sellers, and agent banks,our platforms automate loan trade affirmation, confirmation and matching to facilitate straight through processing of loan trades. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an analytical approach who thrives in a fast environment and has an interestin financial markets. In this role, youll have an opportunity to improve the settlement process by providing support to the Loan Settlement team and work with clients to identify solutions within the ClearPar product. In this role, you will gain exposureto an exciting financial market and interact, on a daily basis with clients of varying levels of seniority. Duties & accountabilities Loan administration, credit, and transferdocument builds Track ongoing loan activity and manage loan identifiers Analyze all aspects of new deal closings, Credit Agreements, Amendments, and Deal Restructures Work with a global team of Client Services Analysts responsible for front-line client serviceson various Loans platforms Pro-actively escalate issues and work with peers and management on a resolution Must consistently adhere to all internal procedures Be pro-active in identifying problems and either resolving or escalating them Capture and channeluser feedback to the management team to facilitate the continuous improvement of our products and services Projects as requested by team leader Ad hoc duties and requests as required by the business Job Requirements - "About You" Bachelors Degree preferredExperience within the financial industry would be preferred, but not a requirement Ability to think laterally and analyse and question processes Ability to identify and escalate issues or concerns Excellent prioritization skills a requirement Eager to learnwith strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Great organizational skills are a requirement Must be able handle stressful customer situations with patience and poise Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working with internet-based applications Abilityto review processes and suggest improvements The candidate must be a self-starter, able to take on multiple tasks at a time, hardworking, efficient with good analytical skills Ability to adapt quickly to changes in workflow and work effectively in a dynamicenvironment Possess a practical approach to problem solving Strong team ethic a requirement Must demonstrate superior communication skills and is expected to interact professionally across business units within the company Being a team player is a vital aspectof the position, and it is expected that the candidate will work well individually, as well as in a global team environment coordinating well within team products Job Benefits - "What we offer" Cash incentive plan Options to work from home Flexible workinghours to allow you to attend your family Opportunity to work with world experts in the field Strong client base and broad product line Inclusion and diversity are critical to the success of IHS Markit, and we actively encourage applications from people ofall backgrounds.
