We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Client Relationship Manager to join our Client Development team for Europe, the Middle East and Asia (EMEA). You will be joining a dynamic and friendly team of Client Relationship Managers, Executives and SeniorManagers, reporting into the EMEA Director of Client Development. This is an extremely exciting time to be joining the team and there will be lots of opportunity to get involved in strategic areas that suit your interest. The team sits within a broader EMEAMarketing and Business Development (MBD) team which supports the firm across 24 offices. There is also a fantastic opportunity to create your own flexible ways of working through the firm’s 2 : 2 : 1 hybrid working model.The RoleIn this influential role you will have responsibility for the development of a small and targeted portfolio of the firm’s priority clients, working closely with the respective Client Relationship Partner (CRP) and global client teams. This is a fantasticrole for someone to make a big impact, working alongside some of the firm’s most senior leaders. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to, and lead on, value-add projects that support and develop the Client Development team more broadly, providingan opportunity to expand your network, knowledge and understanding of the firm.Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the CRP and client team members, create and maintain a vision, account and execution plan closely aligned with the client’s aspirations and requirements.
  • Encouraging teams from multiple lines of business to come together regularly, to connect and share insights and to drive “one firm” results that deepen client relationships and broaden buying behaviours.
  • Developing long-term and trusted relationships with a number of client stakeholders who are influential decision makers and take the lead on the management of the procurement.
  • Closely managing budgets and ambition targets to ensure year on year growth is achieved and the team are activating strategic imperatives to achieve results.
  • Supported by Risk professionals, maintain the highest quality risk protocols for the firm.
  • Working alongside our Bids and Proposal experts on RfPs and Panel requests and to ensure a truly client-centric response is developed and consistent quality standards are met.
  • Attending ad-hoc client meetings and formal client feedback sessions and activate appropriate follow up.
  • Managing client relationships and touchpoints to create an exceptional Client Experience on behalf of Norton Rose Fulbright. Taking the lead on Procurement relationship management as well as identifying opportunities to develop relationships for the firmbeyond this.
  • Working closely with others in the MBD team, such as Marketing, Communications, Business Development, Bids and Proposals, as well as other Business Services teams, including the Commercial and Pricing team and our Knowledge lawyers, to create a truly differentiatedexperience for our clients.
  • As an engaged Marketing and Business Development Team member, you will contribute to the overall creation of strategic team objectives and implementation of key workstreams.
Key Skills and Experience
  • Graduate calibre with demonstrable and/or professionally recognised qualification.
  • Proven track record of working within a dynamic Business Development or Sales environment. Minimum of five years preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Legal or Professional Services organisations, preferably with international matrix structures.
  • Experience working within a range of industries, particularly Financial Institutions and Banking, would be an advantage.
  • Fiercely client-centric in your approach and attitude
  • good knowledge of current market topics and industry drivers
  • Strong influencing skills to work with some of the firm’s most Senior Partners (confident, assertive, diplomatic). You will have the ability to influence, navigate and adjust your style to get people to work together to the ultimate benefit of our clients.
  • A commercial mindset and ability to oversee pricing, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Strong relationship building skills both for internal and external stakeholders.
  • A growth mindset and a flexible and open attitude to organisational change.
  • A positive and collaborative team player who brings ideas and solutions
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
