DescriptionOVERALL PURPOSEThe individual will assist with the management of a number of clients within Stonehage Fleming Investment Management. The client book consists predominantly of large inter-generational families with global assets and complex financial requirements. StonehageFleming provide a variety of services focused on the protection of family wealth and the investment of assets - these include: Investment Management, Private Equity, Corporate Advisory, Wealth Planning, Art & Property Management, Legal and Tax Advisory, aswell as the transition of wealth to future generations. This Associate level role supports the continued growth of the team and the wider business. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of client relationship aspects, ensuring thatall duties are completed accurately, delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. Key ResponsibilitiesPRINCIPAL ELEMENTS AND ACCOUNTABILITIESInvestment process • Initiate, monitor and ensure full completion/settlement of investment trades • Portfolio modelling and implementation of clients investment strategy • Annual review of clients investment objectives and restrictions • Attend regular Investment Team meetings and internal updates • Attend regular Client Team meetings • Responsibility for corporate actions Client management support • Assist the team with their existing clients as well as new business development • Assist with preparation and documents for client meetings and investment reviews • Production of bespoke monthly and quarterly client investment reports • Attend client meetings, participate and follow up on action points in a timely manner • Respond to client and intermediaries/third party queries • Facilitate client on boarding, account set up and life cycle events • Ensure that necessary client documentation is held on file and up-to-date • Assist with ad-hoc projects where possible (service offering, processes etc.) • Coordinate payments and deposits • Good understanding of the Stonehage Fleming Service Offering Promote and adhere to robust Operating Procedures • You are responsible for adhering to the operating procedures of the business as written and of providing enhancements and changes to the procedures as and when identified. It is essential that any such changes are properly documented. CODE STAFFUnder the SM&CR this role is classified as Code Staff. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE• Degree level or equivalent • Two years experience working with private clients within the Financial Services Industry • CFA Level 1/equivalent advantageous but not essential COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS• Analytical with strong numeracy skills • Team oriented with flexible approach • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to use initiative and work independently • Strong organisational skills, ability to multitask and prioritise between tasks • Good MS Office skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook) • Problem solving - considers options and wider consequences of decisions to be made • Personal interest in investments • Self-motivated to achieve goals to improve own and company performance
