A great opportunity has arisen for a Client Events Assistant to join this highly ranked global law firm based in the city of London for a 2-month FTC. The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and professional events service to the firm and clients.The Client Events Assistant role is a full-time position of 35 hours a week from 9:30-5:30. Additionally, this firm offer a salary of up to £36,000 and an outstanding benefits package. This role will have the possibility of working outside of these hours forevents where over time will be paid.The Events Assistant will be responsible for the following: Conduct venue research for new offsite event requests Assist with the coordination of logistics and event execution Assist with the onsite delivery of signature events, dinners, receptions, and other social lawyer-client gatherings Organising the collation and shipping of collateral, giveaways, and other events-related materials for events Updating data held within the teams event hub "Circa" and team documents filed in iManage Use of the firms CRM system (InterAction) to create event mailing lists and update contacts and RSVP/attendance status Use of the events teams software platforms to edit and record key event planning stages and documents Purchase and distribution of speaker client gifts Arrange production of event materials including creating name badges, speaker tents, printing of event handouts and signage Set up and tear down of exhibition stands for London based conferences supported by the client events team. Supports the DE&I and GWI groups with the compilation of the event invitations and support as appropriate Performs any and all other duties as necessary and as assigned by your supervisor for efficient functioning of the Department, Office and FirmSkills & Experience:The desired candidate will possess strong creative skills in order to design and tailor an event to suit each need. Candidates will have previous Event Management experience within a Legal/Professional services firm and possess. This role also requires aself-motivated individual, with strong IT and database skills, who is highly organised and can keep to strict deadlines.
