Job Description

A leading Media Agency, is searching for a new client accounts assistant to play a key role in the collection of income for a wide variety of clients.The role & responsibilities;

  • Processing payments through our bespoke payments system
  • Raising VAT invoices on behalf of clients.
  • Collecting post, taking post to reception, taking cheques to the bank.
  • Credit control on behalf of clients.
  • Investigating unallocated amounts received and payments on hold.
  • Liaising with clients as required e.g. payment queries, client information etc.
  • Dealing with client’s queries, for example tax, VAT, paperwork, outstanding payments etc. via phone or email, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Using online banking to download bank statements, transfer money between accounts and make CHAPS, BACS or International payments.
    • The person we are looking for;
  • Minimum of 1 years Office experience
  • Interest in Film/TV/Media
  • Experience working in creative industry would be a bonus
  • Degree in Accounting & Finance/ or another subject
  • Fast learner and happy to ask questions
  • Strong communication skills – good email and phone manner essential
  • Good team player but also happy to work unsupervised
