Job Description

Year 6 Class TeacherA vibrant community school in Islington who prides itself on ensuring the best from of education is delivered to the children are looking to recruit a Year 6 KS2 Class Teacher ahead of September 2022 on a permanent basis. The perfect Class Teacher for thisposition will be experienced with preparing children for SATS, great behaviour management and a clear passion for following and mirroring the schools ethos. This school is very keen on upskilling existing staff into more senior positions and have not onlythe childrens best interest at heart but the staff around them as well.Class Teacher responsibilities:

  • Planning engaging and creative lessons
  • SATS Booster sessions
  • Marking classwork
  • Safeguarding pupils
  • Building great working relationships with pupils
  • Have a great working relationship with the existing TA.
Class Teacher Role requirements:
  • QTS /NQTS accepted
  • Extensive knowledge of KS2 curriculum
  • SATS experience as Class Teacher
  • A diverse approach to teaching
