Job Description

We are recruiting for a Claims Operations Assistant vacancy on behalf of a prestigious, growing and top performing Lloyds Syndicate.They are a high performing company with a can do attitude, who write risk across a broad portfolio of Global insurance and reinsurance, including Property, Marine & Energy, Accident & Health, Aviation and Specialty.This Claims Operations Assistant vacancy provides an excellent opportunity for a hardworking, analytical & confidant individual-with at least a years Lloyds/London Insurance market operations experience, who may be keen to specialise in claims operations.The Role:

  • Assisting with the provision of operations services to the Claims team. The role will provide non-adjusting claims management services to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of the Claims team.
  • Assisting to identify and implement claims operational support requirements and make sure that claims processes are aligned to internal controls and industry standard.
  • Liaison with external parties such as brokers, loss adjusters, DXC, TPAs and lawyers.
  • Co-ordination of the outsourced peer review process and internal claim reviews
  • Preparation and presentation of claims data for monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Involvement in internal and external audits
  • Maintenance of the in-house claims system and ECF to facilitate workflow processes
  • Work alongside Claims Operations Manager to complete due diligence/contracts for proposed TPAs and monitoring sign off progression.
  • Assist Claims Operations Manager with managing the day to day management of delegated claims, gathering data and MI, and assist with reviewing and improving TPA overall performance.
  • Assisting in claims projects
The ideal candidates will have a keen interest in Re/Insurance operations and data driven insights.Analytical mindset-minimum criteria of Grade B/6 at Maths GCSEGood IT skills, especially MS ExcelCommunication: Should be able to display excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills, in order to interact with the team and with internal and external contacts.
