Claims Handler Location: Home based Salary: Up to GBP25,000 per year Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm. Job type: Full-time, permanent Summary of the Claims Handler: This role is to pro-actively handle subsidence claims in a manner that supports an efficient and effective settlement for the policyholder. To add value to the customer journey by providing sound technical advice and keeping them informed at key stages. Responsibilities of the Claims Handler: To really understand what matters to the customer and put this first. To understand the nature of the claim and set a strategy for resolution understanding each individual demand and likely outcome. Build strong relations with colleagues, brokers and suppliers to ensure seamless claims handling service. Capture feedback and continuously look for systems improvement to enhance the overall claims handling process. Requirements of the Claims Handler: Must have strong customer service experience. Previous experience in handling insurance claims is advantageous. Able to work as part of a team or on your own entitative. High learning capacity to build on technical knowledge.
