Job Description

  • Are you looking to advance your career within Security and GovernanceWe are currently searching for a number of Debt Collectors to join our business partner, SSCL - the largest provider of support services within Government, Ministry of Defence, Metropolitan Police Service and the Construction and Training Board (CITB).What you’ll be doing:
  • Tactfully and expertly dealing with customers in all methods of communication.
  • Handle incoming correspondence, diaries, reports and other queries, settling priority matters, preparing and sending responses with the relevantforms/documentation.
  • Support and instruct external agents to trace or serve documents on CITB’s behalf.
  • Identify whether Scottish judgment debts should be referred to external solicitors for enforcement.
  • Prepare and apply for the relevant Court Certificate and thereafter referring, and advising the Scottish solicitors on a timely basis.
  • Arranging instalment payments and identifying acceptability on payment offers in a timely fashion.
  • Deputise for the Levy Collections Manager in times of absence, producing witness statements and attending court hearings when required.
