Playball is programme designed for Children aged 2-7 years to encourage their coordination, movement and sporting skills in a fun, supervised, structured environment.Playball Sport and Movement Coach:I am looking for a coach to teach the Playball curriculum to children aged 2-7 yeears, following specific coaching methodology and programme.The Person:Coaches must be confident and willing to lead classes of young children in order to develop their movement and sporting skills according to the Playball programme.You will be comfortable and clear communicating to young children and their parents, whilst representing the Playball brand.Ideally you will be a keen sports person yourself.New coaches must undertake training (paid at a lower rate) before teaching full/part time. Locations include Wimbledon Park, Putney and Hammersmith.Playball term dates run simultaneously with the school terms (+- 12 weeks long). Classes run for 45-50 minutes, and full-time coaches will teach usually 4-6 classes per day, Monday-Friday, with the option of teaching on Saturday mornings too. During school half terms and holidays, Playball camps will run in place of classes. Coaches are expected to arrive 20 minutes before all classes and camps start.Pay for coaches is as follows: £20-£25 per class depending on coaching experience and ability. £75 per camp (3 hours), and £75/£50 per childrens birthday party (1 hour) based on leading/assisting. Administration work is £13 per hour if required. Training is £12.50 per class, and the Coach may train in as many classes as he/she desires each day.Coaches will be self-employed and send an invoice monthly to Owner of Playball Franchise which will be paid at the end of the month. Holidays and leave are not permitted during school term-time, but can be taken in any school holiday period when camps are run, provided decent notice is given. Leave is unpaid and optional during these times.A contract will need to be signed committing the Coach to give 3 months notice if he/she wishes to leave, so that another Coach may be hired to train underneath them.Advanced DBS Checking will be performed on all successful applicants before starting.Apply now,highlighting your experience and suitability for the role!
