Job Description

Childrens Social Worker - Response Team (Duty & Assessment) How youll make a differenceWhether you have just passed your ASYE, or are a Senior Social Worker with 15 years experience, lets talk.Our social workers make a real difference. The Response Team sits within the Front Door of our Integrated Childrens Service. You will be assessing andmanaging risk where there is possible, or actual, significant harm to children to ensure that children are kept safe and protected from abuse. You will be undertaking statutory assessments of cases meeting the threshold for social care intervention, this includeschild protection investigations. What we need from youA qualified social worker with relevant registration to practice and a good understanding of asset and strengths based approaches to social work You will have already successfully completed your ASYE (wherequalifying since 2012) Aproblem solver, confident about making important decisions, underpinned by a genuine passion to work collaboratively with children, young people and families to meet their goals and aspirations Innovation, positivity and dedication.Youll welcome challenge and embrace change. We are currently working remotely,as we provide a service to our customers from the council offices.
