In ADS we foster a culture in which employees feel valued and supported, delivering exceptional rates of customer satisfaction in the UK’s most complex safety- and security-critical markets.The Day JobThe Chief Technology Officer (CTO) role is a key leadership role in the Aerospace Defence and Secure Sector Executive Team, working alongside the Sector Managing Director (MD), the Sub-Sector Business Unit Leads and managing a team of technologists. They will be expected to deliver a strategic approach to technology delivery and transformational activity to a portfolio of customers with differing objectives and outcomes.The Aerospace Defence and Secure sector has a range of high profile current clients who look to Sopra Steria to manage and deliver some or all of their current services and projects with information security as a common theme. The Sector also seeks to grow the business to both current and prospective clients who seek digital solutions to help them transform their business.They will also have a strong professional services ethos; be an evangelist of technology and are confident in, reviewing, coaching and challenging others to drive up and increase professionalism, client satisfaction and profitability of the services delivered across the Sector. They will lead, build and maintain a technology capability across the sector that can do the same. This will include identifying the requirement for external partnering, recruiting or upskilling technology resources and identifying training initiatives to develop and maintain digital skills. The CTO should act as a magnet for technology talent, pick the best candidates and foster them to become technology leaders in the future.Key Responsibilities:
