Job Description

The Rolemy client is growing fast and were in need of a motivated and adaptable individual to support our CEO as Chief of Staff. As a strategist, consultant and implementer, the successful candidate will ensure streamlined activities within the organisation basedon the priorities of the CEO. The Chief of Staff will handle day-to-day management of activities to allow the CEO to focus on growing our business. The candidate will need to be versatile and willing to get stuck in across the business, using their analyticalprowess, high levels of organisational ability and strong interpersonal skills to contribute to the long-term success of the company.Responsibilities

  • Act as an adviser to the CEO and senior management team
  • Assist the CEO in facilitating effective decision-making
  • Coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives
  • Assess enquiries directed to the CEO, determine the proper course of action and delegate to the appropriate individual to manage
  • Ensure all staff issues are addressed properly, efficiently and judiciously, and keep track of progress until resolved
  • Attending meetings and calls on the behalf of the CEO
  • Helping the CEO prioritise their time and appointments
  • Writing first drafts of proposals, emails, letters etc
  • Taking notes during the meetings that the CEO attends and making sure that the action items from the meeting are executed
  • Acting as the communication arm for the CEO with other executives in the organization, clients or major stakeholders.
  • Acting as the sounding board to the CEO for new ideas and initiatives
  • Execution of ad hoc analysis to assist commercial and support functions
Requirements
  • 5+ years executive level experience at a top-tier strategy consultancy (MBB, L.E.K., OC&C, Oliver Wyman, etc), ideally at senior Consultant or junior Manager level
  • Impeccable managerial and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior management
  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments
  • Effective, versatile and action-focused
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical ability
  • PropTech sector experience is not required but a willingness to get to grips with the ins and outs of repairs and maintenance management as well as the broader property management space most certainly is
Nice to haves
  • Masters Degree in Business Administration or related field from a top university
  • German language skills
  • Relevant experience from a SaaS and/or marketplace business
