Band 7 Chief Cardiac Physiologist – Echocardiography with site rotationBand 7 Chief Cardiac Physiologist – Echocardiography (1 year fixed term)We are seeking a dynamic and conscientious Echocardiographer to work between Barts Heart Centre and cross-site with weekend cover. This will provide exposure to the successful applicant to a variety of cardiac pathologies and clinical situations.As an Advance BSE accredited department, this is an exciting opportunity to develop your career as a competent Echocardiographer and gain expertise in specialist areas i.e. Cardio-oncology, GUCH and Stress Echo.We are looking for a full or part-time (2 or 3 working days) accredited Transthoracic Echocardiographer, independently performing and reporting to British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) standards or equivalent. Applicants should have relevant experience at senior level and be ready to embark on the next step of their career.The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, motivated and forward-thinking individual who will contribute to the cardiac physiology team and Echo service.Furthermore, you will be supported to develop your leadership skills as you supervise and train staff in the performance of their roles and give support to Senior Staff members.
