Job Description

The CompanyBrewster Partners are recruiting for a non-profit food retail business in Lambeth. With sites throughout the UK our client is well established and can provide fantastic career opportunities.THE JOB:This role is within the charity arm of the organisation.This role is based in Lambeth, is full time (40 hours) and permanent. The hours of work are between 6am-11pm.As Chef Mentor, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment that facilitates community sharing, learning and food workshops. As well as this you will:

  • Use food to build communities with the will and skills to succeed
  • Support individuals to achieve positive change in their own lives
  • Provide a daily, morning and dinner service within the community cafe to all our members
THE PERSON:The ideal person will have experience in a similar position previously, as well as:
  • Holding current Food Safety and Hygiene to a minimum of level 2 Certificate
  • Desirable experience in delivering effective cooking training programmes
  • Support and collaborate with all members to achieve the best results together
  • Proven experience in a chef role
  • Be proud to make a difference
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Passionate communicator
