Job Description

Are you a proven Salesperson Do you have great negotiation skills and the ability to find new clients*Predominantly work from home. You will need to travel to the office in either Whitstable or Sandwich once or twice a week*We are looking someone who can talk confidently and professionally to clients. You will be a tough negotiator with suppliers and a confident closer of sales. If youve all three of these attributes then please read on.Perhaps you have a recruitment background, or you may have worked within travel and hospitalityPrivate Jet Charter has been in the private jet business for more than 30 years, we were one of the first and most respected private jet charter brokers in the world.Our clients include are HNWI’s, movie stars, bands, musicians, models, famous sportsmen, and womenas well as senior business executives who all travel on private jets and helicopters supplied by our team of professional salespeople.Our private jet and helicopter team, rent private jets to clients for business meetings, acquisitions, music tours, financial roadshows, sporting events, and medical emergency flights. In fact, they have chartered aircraft for pretty much every event you can imagine.The daily challenges they face can be overwhelming which is why we are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, able to work quickly, and think on their feet.If we offer you a position, you will receive onsite training and be assigned to work with one of our senior salespeople who will help you to learn every aspect of the job. During your first six months, you will be working closely with one of our senior salespeople, seeing first-hand what is required to ensure that all of our private jet flights are performed to the highest standards, using aviation tools to help you manage every aspect of a charter flight.You will also be expected to generate a percentage of your own sales leads and build yourself a quality client list. This sales position is never boring, every day is different, sometimes its hectic and often you will be under pressure to perform quickly and get results.The role includes:

  • Establishing a portfolio of clients, identifying new clients through cold calling, networking and managing online enquiries
  • Ability to demonstrate an expert understanding of the aircraft and chartering process
  • Building long term relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Managing executive charter bookings from enquiry to completion
  • Flight watching/overseeing flight departures (this might be unsociable hours)
  • Travel and the opportunity to fly on private jets
  • Working outside of our normal working hours
  • What we are looking for:
  • English speaker with a second language preferred
  • Ability to exceed sales financial targets
  • Hardworking and flexible, this role is not simply 9-5.30
  • Ambition, drive, and self-motivation
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to succeed under pressure
  • Valid driving license and passport
