Job Description

We are looking for a candidate with experience of retail banking products, strong organisational skills, attention to detail, good technical ability and awareness of payment regulations/scheme rules.Experience of key Visa areas such as VbV, Issuer Public keys, VAU, VSDC profiles, at least three years extensive experience in an operational technical card based role.The ability to analyse information and apply logical thinking to identify and resolve key issues and points.The Technical specialist will oversee the continual operations of the card service in the Bank and the delivery of cards related change into BAU Service by co-ordinating service reviews with card suppliers, ensuring any mandated or regulated changes areconsidered from stakeholders across the business, tracked and delivered.Ensure all related activity is managed in a cohesive manner, provide support to bank wide projects across the spectrum of payments and cards both internal and regulatory change activities.Work to deliver business readiness, ensuring handover from project to operational BAU is completed with agreed warranty periods.Acting as point of reference for colleagues, and deal with queries/questions, help with team problems, and oversee teamwork making sure it is of high quality.Develop staff, sharing expertise and skills with colleagues, lead on tasks, providing solutions and process improvements.Ensure incidents are recorded in the incident management system and reviewed and analysed. Support FLOD Testing.
