Job Description

Job IntroductionThe Change Adoption Manager role resides within the Handelsbanken Digital department and is responsible for facilitating the successful embedding of digital change initiatives across the Bank. Working as part of the cross-functional Business Transformationcentral team, they will be responsible for supporting the digital product delivery areas to implement change effectively across the organisation, providing them with the tools and capabilities to succeed and ensuring adherence to the Change Adoption Framework. The role holder will be responsible for developing excellent stakeholder relationships and engagement with the end users/recipients of change, with a particularly strong focus on the Branch network. They will work with these areas to: assess the impact of proposedchanges and agree optimal sequencing of roll-out; ensure that training plans are tailored to the audience and delivered seamlessly and professionally; establish robust communication channels to keep stakeholders informed; and drive user adoption of new digitalproducts, ensuring maximum customer and business value is realised. Reporting to the Head of Change Adoption, you will work together to understand the impacts of change on our people, embed the right behaviours around the Banks new digital capabilities and empower colleagues to use them, taking the whole organisation on ourBusiness Transformation journey. This position is to be based in London or Manchester. Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough impact assessments to identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities associated with proposed changes, and support in developing plans accordingly.
  • Create and maintain a strong relationship with Internal Communications to successfully land key change messages, ensuring change comms are aligned to comms guidelines and broader Bank communications plans.
  • Track and measure the results of adoption of change delivered, and regularly report results to key business stakeholders and leadership.
  • Design, develop and maintain change adoption strategies to support the optimal uptake of new processes and technologies.
  • Engage with all areas of the business to form and maintain coalition around the delivery of successful change aligned to the Banks strategy.
  • Be an active member of the Change Adoption community of practise, sharing experiences and contributing towards the continual enhancement of this capability to broaden impact and ensure consistency of approach across Business Transformation.
  • Deliver and support business implementation planning, tracking and reporting, ensuring visibility of activities required in order to deliver successful change.
  • Close working relationship with all functions within Business Transformation and the wider Bank including business owners to support readiness for change being delivered into operational BAU processes.
  • Supporting business representatives through business change methodology and ensuring that impacts are understood and implementation plans are produce.
  • Consult and coach appropriately through the product development lifecycle whilst also identifying training needs/gaps, update tools and processes where appropriate through feedback and regular evaluation of effectiveness.
  • Operates in line with the Banks Risk Management framework (including sub-frameworks) and relevant risk and compliance policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate and timely escalation of any concerns.

  • Ability to engage, communicate with and influence senior leaders and key stakeholders.
  • A solid understanding of behavioural change and adoption.
  • Exceptional relationship building skills.
  • Robust understanding of the Financial Services sector.
  • Proven track record of delivering effective change, with an emphasis on end user impact and stakeholder management and engagement.
  • Success in delivering change communications plans that drive culture and change adoption.
  • An understanding and/or experience of the Microsoft 365 suite of applications is desirable.
  • Experience of leading the people side of large, complex change programmes, developing change and enablement strategies, and designing change adoption training plans is highly desirable.
