Chambermaid/ Cleaner = Pay rate:£10.50 per hour Hotels: The Westbourne Hyde Park & The Crescent Hyde Park, 51 Gloucester Terrace London W23DQChambermaid/ Cleaner - JOB SUMMARYTo keep the hotel clean and tidy, specifically the hotel bedrooms and public areas.Maintain speed and quality to allow the hotel to sell as many hotel bedrooms as possible on a daily basis. Keeping standards high, vary from touching up a clean, vacant room, to servicing an occupied room, changing over a bedroom, and deep cleaning each roomin rotation.A keen eye for detail is important, to find any issues within the rooms and report them, as well as suggesting any improvements. Excellent standards of cleanliness will prevent customer dissatisfaction, and good attention to detail will ensure that areas dontget missed.Good communication skills are required, to maintain a dialogue with others in the Housekeeping team, as well as with the Reception team to make sure that we know when rooms are ready, and when they cannot be used.A positive and professional outlook will allow customers to enjoy any interactions with the team during the day.This list is not exhaustive, and you may be reasonably required to perform other tasks as requested from time to time.SKILLS NEEDEDCandidates must have a good level of cleanliness, attention to detail, and be able to communicate well and multitask.WORKING HOURSVaried, depending on the nature of the business and the work being carried out during the week. Shifts generally start from 9am or 10am, and can be any day of the week including weekends.ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORTCandidates will receive on the job training from a number of staff members who they will be working alongside.================================================================================================Hotel-Receptionist and Porter = Pay rate:£11.00 per hourHotels: The Westbourne Hyde Park & The Crescent Hyde Park 51 Gloucester Terrace London W23DQPosition: Immediate start - Reports to Reservation Manager/ General ManagerJob Objective: To deliver friendly, efficient customer service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all our guests, with the key aim of retaining and attracting new customersEssential requirements: You must:

  • have proof of right to work in the UK, able to converse in english, have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, flexibility to work
Main responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent customer service, at all times
  • Deal with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone or via e-mail with guests, colleagues, housekeeping, managers or directors.
  • Deal with check-ins, check-outs, collecting payments and keeping records of transactions in the system.
  • Administer all reservations, cancellations and no-shows, in line with company policy and to work on extranet.
  • Keep up to date with current promotions and hotel pricing, to provide information to guests, on request, while maximising bedroom sales opportunities
  • Fulfil all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety
  • Conduct regular security checks throughout the shift or according to allocated shift and report any security issues to line manager
  • Report any maintenance issues in the record-book immediately and also inform your line manager, including all furniture, fittings and equipment etc
  • Provide system reports, as required, for housekeepers and management
  • Be responsible for evacuation, in cases of emergency, acting as first point of contact for guests and the emergency services
  • Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and workbooks
  • Always adhere to all company policies and procedures and policies
  • Be involved and contribute at team meetings
  • Carry out instructions given by the management team and head office.
  • Log all deliveries that come to Reception (boxes, special deliveries, etc.) according to established procedures.
Additional Responsibilities when performing as a Porter: Miscellaneous duties as required as blow or which will be discussed if/when they arise.
  • Under the general guidance and supervision of the Manager/ Duty Managers/ Receptionists
  • within the established policies and procedures, responsible for taking part in handling of guest luggage and all other activities related to customer service and, running errands and delivery of guest parcels or messages.
  • Greets all guests at the Front Door politely and courteously and guides them towards the reception desk or function rooms.
  • Assists guests with their luggage for both check-ins and check-outs.
  • Carries guests luggage to the room upon check-in and check-out.
  • Follows the current Rooming Procedure, including briefing guest on usage of light switches, TV, radio, internet, mini bar and telephone facilities in the room.
  • Ensures that all guest property is safely handled and/or stored in the Luggage Room.
  • Cleans ashtrays and lobby area neat and orderly.
  • Participates in group luggage handling, distribution and collection.
Preferences: A background in hospitality industry and customer service will be preferred for the role. Also, any candidate with basic knowledge of any property management system (PMS).Training: Full basic-training will be provided to meet the requirements of role.================================================================================================
