Job Description

CCTV & Access Control Technical Support EngineerAn exciting position has become available for a full time CCTV & Access Control Technical Support Engineer, field based in London and around the M25. The successful candidate will work the hours 8am-6pm and will earn £25,000-£28,000 pa depending on experience.Role Requirements

  • Essential experience with Hikvision/IVMS, Paxton Net2 and preferably 2N experience
  • A CSCS Card or ECS Card is Essential.
  • Preferably electrical qualification
  • Preferably fire installation qualification
  • Excellent Fault finding on electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable liaising with all site trades and office-based professionals, up to and including director level.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • A good level of numeracy and excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills including being competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • A clean driving licence.
  • Flexibility in travelling and taking part in fieldwork is important, including visiting client sites to solve issues.
    • Role Responsibilities
  • Installing, servicing, and maintaining automatic gates, barriers, turnstiles, intercoms & access control systems
  • Installation of CCTV systems & programming, setting up and demonstrating to clients as well creating manuals for the same.
  • Electrical wiring.
  • Stock control and organising.
  • Team and autonomous worker are required.
  • Support in the organization of service and maintenance works, completing quotations and general supporting duties pertaining to the role

  • BS EN 16005 standards.
  • Gate-Safe Legislation.
  • NSI standard
